Projection Experiments

The past couple weeks have been a whirlwind of writing, iterating and developing new projects. I’ve been applying to residencies and exhibitions, which really means I’ve been doing a lot of hands-ons experimenting. I really enjoy creating small scale projects that serve as proofs of concept for larger pieces. Below are a series of projection mapping tests that include paper prototypes, 2D forms, and some projections on my home altar. Thanks to Matthew Ragan for helping take some of these awesome photographs!

Initial designs for a sculpture inspired by oceanic waveform topography and vibrant, tropical colors.

Displaced pixels & displaced memories of places we can no longer return too.
